Spring 2008 NCSL D2

Welcome to the CYA Shock!
The CYA Shock will play in the NCSL U-13 Boys Division 3 - Spring 2009

Winners of the 2007 SAC Columbus Day Tournament and the Fall 2006 Hunt Country Classic Tournament. Finalists in the Fall 2007 OBGC Capital Cup Tournament and Semi-Finalists in the Spring 2007 Virginian Tournament. Participants in Spring 2008 State Cup and the Potomac Memorial Tournament.

The Shock is a diverse team and has players who hail from across Fairfax county. We train in Chantilly on both grass and the finest artificial turf fields available! We are proud that we have placed players onto the Olympic Development Program (ODP) Team !

The CYA Shock is professionally coached and trained by Ciro Martinez, who is fluent in both English and Spanish!

Coach Ciro Martinez Leads Shock...

Head Coach Ciro Martinez Leads Shock In Our Climb To The Top!

For the past five seasons Ciro has coached the NCSL CYA Shock Boys team. The U-13 Shock has taken 1st place in both their Division 5 (Fall '06) and D4 (Spring '07) seasons. They took 2nd place in D3 (Fall '07), and 3rd in D2 in Spring 2008. We will play 11 v 11 soccer in Division 3 NCSL in Spring 2009 season.

Highlights of the Shock's performance during tournament play include: Champions at the 2007 SAC Columbus Day Tournament, Finalists at the 2007 Capital Cup, Semi-finalists at the 2007 Virginian Tournament, Champions at the 2007 PWSI Icebreaker Tournament, Champions at the 2006 Hunt Country Classic Tournament. The Shock participates in State Cup, one to two tournaments per season and trains August through June, including winter futsol skills and indoor games.

The Shock always play to win and look forward to continuing success, hard work, growth and fun, on and off the field.
